  • I was a finisher for many years. I was very surprised by how easy this stuff was to use. Totally trouble free...I did one room and it took me no time at all, but what was cool was that I could teach a monkey to do this....well maybe a chimp. My friend basically forced it on me and I was very impressed. Two things.. the bucket and clamp thing is silly and they have a better tool now and the other is that for pros, we always had the drywallers fill any joints with green mud that werent tight.

  • This is terrible, and to do a 500 sheet house, would take weeks!

  • absolute shit

  • @xXsnitchyXx no need to use it im about quality an theres a reason why the mud goes on the wall. mesh tape is junk only good for patching or when using a hard setting type of mud like durabond. guaranteed this stuff cracks

  • @pharris5987 have you used it ?? think not , its actualy good stuff and much better than easy tape mesh tape

  • Looks like standard white packing tape.

  • haha what fucking moron came up with this

  • I concur - it is crap, when you tape with real drywall tape you are also prefilling small gaps, screw heads / nails, and the recess in the drywall sheets themselves. the mud is not just to make the paper tape stick - of course only pros would know this.

  • Junk

  • What about that 1/8" gap that is common between sheets? With this system there will be an air pocket under the tape here unless you fill that gap first. So the small gaps that you filled with conventional taping have to be pre-filled with this system.
