Scenes of great bands playing Kirtan music ~ lots of ecstatic chanting and dancing. Spiritual fun.

  • HariboL \o/ it's called an Ektar ~ Ek means one. It has one string one bamboo and one gourd. It makes lots of cool sounds called 'gamakas' meaning that which pleases; by squeezing the bamboo after plucking the string. It's an ancient instrument from India that Holy People sing devotional songs with. Thanks for your interest and I'll see you at the next Bhakti Fest or? Hare Krsna!

  • Say... what's the name of the instrument you're playing starting at 3:26? You told me at Bhakti Fest, but I didn't have a pen to write it down... can't remember what you said now.... Thanks much... namaste... - Warren

  • Not sure why some feel they must begrudge the good fortune and background of others. It's a shame.

Anyways, looking forward to attending next year! (and I'm not a "wealthy Trustfund" in case that somehow matters =P)
