Even assuming your statement about aristocracy is true (Its a rather large exaggeration, but not entirely false), who wins when you assume that attitude? They do. They want you to think its hopeless and one citizens voice is meaningless, when in reality on man' voice is the only thing that counts.
The only way to steer your country right is to be involved, and that's not limited to voting by any means, although it is a good place to start.

It's pretty clear by now, that participation in politics is largely an exercise in futility. Aside from the most basic local issues, it is the aristocratic class that controls government.

don't have the capability to to kick our asses out of their OWN COUNTRY?
Well if they had the capability, they would have done it, wouldn't they? The fact that they haven't suggests they don't have the capability, doesn't it? You are mixing ability and rights of sovereignty. The former decides the world, the latter is just a fantasy without the means to support it.

Nice idea. Enforcement would be tricky.

Was it wrong to take it? Perhaps.
Is it safe to set it aside? No, nor can we expect it to become safe in the future.
The sword and shield are fuzed to our hands. Our only option is to exercise prudence and good judgement in all aspects of the administration of power.
Our hegemony can be more than simply a burden, but people have to get involved in politics, and right now most of them are too lazy to do more than scratch the surface.

Does anyone else hear "I, AM A NARWHAL" throughout the song, and especially well at 1:15?

Turn this to full blast during the Republic debates... It's the only way to get into their mindset.

i have a deep interest for war as a concept, and i have since i was young. However, the implications and consequences of it are frightening and despicable. Keep war for video games.
If anything, the wars of the future should be virtual , much like a huge Wargame. of course national guard forces and police would still be neccesary.
No. War has had it's chance to achieve peace, and it has always failed.
It is blatantly observable that war is dis-utilitarian, it is always a loss in resources and manpower. Was is just a rather pathetic projection of collective emotional insecurities. It is a baby-like temper tantrum on a national scale. And I'm tired of being forced to pay for them.

I just read on wikipedia that this cd is black when you open it and it turns white when it heats up during play.
