Steve Irwin (the croc hunter) did. That how he died. It struck him in the chest, killing him almost on the spot. If it would've struck him anywhere else, he probably would've survived.

I've been there. It's awesome! As soon as they here the boat they come to the sand bar. Standing amidst 40 or more rays will make your pulse race.
