Maybe his best book ever. Not horror, not scifi, not fantasy, not historical fiction, but a blend of all of them. The guy is amazing - he doesn't need to write anymore with everything he's done to date yet he is still turning out good, 1000+ page novels every 18 months.

Unlike 9-11,the world stopped for four days.No regular tv or radio was broadcat until Tuesday.There were no cell phones,no internet,no video games,etc.The NFL embarrassed itself by playing that Sunday.

I'm only about 100 pages in but I love it. I haven't been this into a book since the Dark Tower series.
