  • @racheleaston43 wilson was a DAMN GOOD president. Yes, he spoke once in favor of the KKK, but he was TN so what do you expect? Most of liberties we have today are form him. Women's suffrage, and workman's comp to name a couple. He was also a pacifist who, if Europe had listened to him, would have prevented WWII. Research before you base all of your hate on one remark.

  • @gerth798 He was a racist. That bastard did nothing positive. He sanctioned all of the race riots of the early 1900s, invaded Haiti, supported the KKK (the most dangerous and hateful terrorist group in America), supported eugenics and brought in the Federal Reserve.

  • @gerth798

    No

  • "The Birth of A Nation" was based on a book called "The Clansman", not Woodrow Wilson's writings. But, Wilson DID show the movie at the White House, and he had a statement at the beginning of the movie.

  • The two gentlemen misrepresented facts during the first 30 seconds of the video. Both espouse political philosophies that serves as their scholarly compass for truth. Stand your political ground. Create historical justification for your present assumptions. Then, accuse the opposition of historical revisionism to gain credibility among the faithful and attempt to take the intellectual high ground. All politically based historians do this. But even worse, these guys do it with Glen Beck!

  • Woodrow Wilson was one of the five greatest presidents in our history. Was he a man of his times in many ways? Yes, but given the context he was no racist! He declared, " Because I love the south, I rejoice in the failure of the Confederacy."

  • @haywood214 The video is about Woodrow Wilson though, not either Roosevelt.

  • @haywood214 Agreed. Well said.

  • Roosevelt wasn't a racist-He was a specieist. N@66er$ aren't human-They are homo erectus-Humans are homo sapiens!

  • Wilson started the foreign interferences in other countries. It certainly aggrevated the 1st World War and cost a lot of American soldiers`lives.
