Yes I think so, I also have the yamaha M08 :) I have to start doing something with all this stuff. I set it all up yesterday and have now created a lovely studio area in my front room , so I must start being creative and uploading something. Thanks for the link for Ardour.... I will check it out

The electribe sx is a kind of sampling sequencer that has all sorts of sounds and enables you to be very creative with it. There are to many functions to list here as I am still learning about it. But i feel with the track you made by kraftwork, you would most likely have a lot of fun with it and produce some really great stuff as your very talented :) My own aim is to create robotic angelic sounds and mix them with classical piano music.... Hence the Microkorg.

microkorg xl has the best sounding vocoder built in i've heard for years.

microkorg xl + electribe sx + sequencer program + vst drum machines is a killer combo.

on linux check : ARDOUR !!!!! similar to pro tools but freeeeeeee.

Hi, you say that this track was done on the Microkorg XL.... I recently bought one of these and there is no percussion/drum sounds etc... so I also bought an electrotribe Sx for this... have I missed something ? I know in the preset songs there are drums on the trance tracks but nothing when searching through the default sounds. Can the songs be edited somehow?

hiya,

yep there r no drumz in the microkorg. the demo songs are probably mp3's loaded in the machine, and the drumz were made with an external software sequencer. in this song i just used one drum loop downloaded from the web. i recommend ableton live for fast recording/sequencing. electrotribe is a drum machine rite?

Thanks for the software link. I use Linux and can not install that program, but I found another one called LMMS. Probaly similar to yours. I like linux as there is so much free stuff out there for it and its all open source... quite cool really... anyway, thanks again!!

hi. no, its just one electro drum loop from the internet somewhere. if i remember its from torrentz.com

everything else is from the synth, factory sounds only
