  • Good move the guy at 1:30. I don't have problem with people coming out of yields, stop signs, etc. as long as the manage to move or accelerate in a way that doesn't make me brake. And also, hats off to the trucker in the last scene. That shows once again that most of them are real professionals. An average CAR driver, with that lane / vehicle size ratio, would be drivin in the middle of your lane.By the way.. I've always said "incoming", not "oncoming"... What's the difference? Which is correct?

  • @Irreo I've googled them, oncoming means 'Coming nearer; Approaching'. Incoming means 'coming in or about to come in' :P. That's a good point about the truck driver in the last clip, they have to drive very close to the hedgerow to avoid being in the other lane. So yeah, they must be good at driving! Thanks for watching!

  • @04smallmj Thanks. Something new I just learnt. Maybe I heard it somewhere sometime and just used it, as valid.

  • @Irreo Yeah, I probably do that with some words... you learn something new every day :-)

  • nice captures! I like the pigeon clip because its just so crazy close! clip after was a little scary, crazy when that happens! in there lane and as they are getting closer they start to come straight at you but jerk the wheel back! ive seen those wierd bicycles, not so much anymore though! probably was a good idea with all the bad drivers where I live!

  • @rextinctione I'm pretty sure I actually hit the wings of the pigeon, so I did hit it LOL. It's kinda odd that the pigeon clip and the following clip are on the same road :P. It's a pretty fast road, 60 MPH on the 2 lane part, then 70 MPH on the seperated section, as per the national speed limits. The alternative route is to go through the town centre...

    Thanks for watching!

  • @Bevoin1970 Yeah, they are suicidal birds! The flying equivalant of sheep I guess, in terms of intelligence :P. They seem to do it on purpose though, like you said.

I haven't seen a pheasant do that, most of the time they are standing in the middle of country lanes!

  • @garyuk17 I guess I forgot about hazard perception then LOL

  • I've had one or two Pigeons bounce off my screen or roof area, they don't like being hit at 60mph do they. I also believe they play chicken too with the traffic, low fast swoops across fast flowing duel carriageways for instance, seen them do it many many times so I know they know what they are doing.

You wanna see a pheasant do it too, they are like flying beer barrels and just as scary...lol

  • HAZARD PERCEPTION!!!......
