Mo Farah asked by US TV presenter: 'Haven't you run before?'
Mo Farah takes part in a cringeworthy television interview with WDSU anchor LaTonya Norton after winning the New Orleans half-marathon. The double Olympic champion, who won the race in a record one hour 59 seconds, is mistaken for an unusually plucky amateur runner by Norton, who asks Farah: 'Haven't you run before? This isn't your first time?'

1) Do you honestly believe being a double Olympic champion has less prestige than being a presenter on a regional news programme? 2) You may wish to consider the millions Mo made in sponsorship deals in 2012 alone before questioning his financial clout. 3) I don't wish to label you as an ignorant, homophobic, red-neck, pig-eyed wanker or indeed highlight your latent homosexuality but come on..."little faggot"...Really?!? Is that necessary?

It never ceases to amaze me at how a video of a runner being interviewd, leads to an argument about Thatcher's policies when she was in government, corruption in china and india, third world poverty and "who has a better country" grow up.

literally embarassed that we are the same species if you genuinely think years upon years of hard training every day across thousands of land miles and winning not one but 2 gold medals in track and field (the hardest of all) gaining a CBE, 10 Gold medals in continental, international and olympic athletics takes precedence over a woman reading an autocue and asking questions then i shall hang myself

Thatcher may have 'saved' the country, but she pretty much tore the heart out of the British mining industry, privatised most of our public services, put millions into unemployment, AND let the bankers run riot which is how we came to be in our current position. You're not British, so you don't know what it was like to live in those hard times.

Oh now it's poverty? lol Oh ok, right because we haven't heard of ANY stories in the last 30 years about how China's Government picks their best athletes at a young age? and trains them for decades? So wtf would poverty in China have to do with anything? I'm done with you clowns. Stay classy Brits!! lol@ you

well that's an odd train of thought.... how did you come to that conclusion? like seriously how? obviously india and china aren't going to get as many medals when half of their population is in poverty. maybe you should look that up and while you're at it check out winchester college...
