Abe Lincoln, God bless him
Did his best to end depression
Good thinker, smart talker
Very tall man, very fast walker
Oh, lord, what a shame
Got shot down by three white name
Abe Lincoln, where are you now?

RFK, God bless him
Did his best to end depression
Oh yeah, his brother too
Their hearts was big, though their blood was blue
Oh, lord, what a shame
Sirhan Sirhan had such good aim
Got shot down by three white name
Kennedy boys, where are you now?

In heaven
In heaven
In heaven
Youre in heaven now

In heaven
In heaven
In heaven
Theyre in heaven now

MLK, God bless him
Malcolm X, God bless him
Mahatma Gandhi, God bless him
John Lennon, God bless him
Oh lord, what a shame
They got gunned down at the height of their fame
We need you, boy, where are you now?

Ronald Reagan, why oh why?
How do you manage to slide on by?

  • Nice song.

Ronald Reagan gets a bad rap.

    Oh one more thing...

    There is no god.

  • True.

  • This is a great song. Though I thought the lyrics were 'did his best to end oppression.'

  • They very well may be. I just copy and pasted lyrics from a website.

No you're wrong. A lot of our founding fathers were deists including Thomas Jefferson who wrote the Constitution. They were not interested, nor believed in a Christian god who listens to our thoughts, watches us, and affects our daily life and other such nonsense. And had Darwin and the theory of evolution been around during their time, men like Thomas Jefferson would certainly have been atheists. It is also common knowledge that Thomas Paine was an atheist as well.

  • @BlinkPunk5 you do realize that America was founded under the belief of God and that most if not all laws are originally branched off of the ten commandments, or the word of God. but some arent

  • @blackvertex As for Bell's particle experiment, quantum mechanics is a new field that we are still learning about however one experiment that does not align with the mountain of research done to understand our physical world does not invalidate all of science. That's just crazy dude.

  • @blackvertex This is an argument coming from the ignorance of understanding the scientific method. Rather than take myths from thousands of years ago and hanging on to them without any introspection, science is a field that tests and retests all ideas in order to learn as much as we can about our physical world. All things peer-reviewed, all ideas tested..plain and simple... (1 of 2)

  • @BlinkPunk5 Prove it wrong! Tell me, can your teeth bite themselves? Can your finger touch itself? Can the self know itself? There might be less validity in a god but there is still no validity in science. If Bell's particle experiment can tell us anything, it is that we have no clue what science really means.

  • oh yes

  • good song, lyrics correction:

*did his best to end oppression

*got shot down by a three word name (john wilkes booth) (lee harvey oswald)

  • Um NO.

If you believe there is a god, then YOU'RE the one who is wrong.

Rather than shutting up, I'd much rather point and laugh at you dummy. HAHA

  • Yeah your wrong about the God thing by the way :) So if you don't know anything about it shut up :) thanks.
