  • I use to have in my truck a modified Presedent with 2500 channels including FM and a 500W Texas star linear and a wilson 1000 antenna. And I could talk all around the world also on Side Band. I am just saying what you talk about is none sense on the radio.

  • @bobsizzz ...I am, besides using cb radio's, also radio amateur. If you want technical stuff to listen to ...have a look at my movies about radio-amateur..perhaps you''l feel more home there, plenty of movies here with lots of technical stuff you'll probably more enjoy......I'm wondering if we would see each other in real life, if you would still talk to me this way..I'm sure not.! I almost got myself catched into your provocation...luckely NOT!

  • You guys are a bunch of idiots. You never have anything worth saying. You just say I am siting in my truck in the UK and I read you well, you are pegging my SWR meter. It is snowing out now and we are hoping for better weather over. Get a fucking life

  • @bobsizzz oh my god, a little pisser!!...get yourself a life instead of watching people doing things they like to do that you don't like to do...

  • i will be in the same location this summer..from 22of july unitil 4th of august..and will be qrv most of the day..as I love to qso with UK-stations my antenna will be beamed in that direction most of the day...so you never know we might contact...

  • hi Fokko, I often have qso's on 2 meter with south-UK, and they are indeed nice and easy..i will visit the region next year.

I'm Studying hard right now for my Harec radio-examen, once i will have the licence, I will be able to do some radio over there as well..my current licence doesn't allow me this ...:-(

  • oops...didn't even Noticed it, thanks!!!

Must say this antenna was build in a couple of hours specially for vacation..and it works great, did Ireland twice after this qso, as well as many other uk stations..

love to work with UK on 11 meter, UK people take their time!! I have the feeling to work with licenced Radio-amateurs on 2meter...unlike a lot on HF-users..you know...qrz?..you're 59(they always say 59) and thanks, qrz?....etc...etc
