  • how did u find ethiopia

  • @SuperKingdawit I headed towards the Red Sea and made a right turn! Kidding, it was awesome. I'd recommend it to anyone. Most people head to Kenya and Tanzania and forget about Ethiopia but it offers a great all round experience, culturally and scenically. The people are super friendly too :)

  • @worldwonderdude I'm from Ethiopia and trust me they don't steel. Also never EVER trust guide books cause they tell you LIES!!!!

  • @cutiepie3997 Did you see the comment below?!! Some poor guy has been robbed, and I have met others over there who suffered the same. It stands to reason when you think about it, richer Europeans coming over loaded with dollars, passports and cameras. If you were an Ethiopian living in the Mercato district, you'd at least consider your chances wouldn't you? I had several people eyeing me up there. I am not picking on Ethiopia or Addis, theft takes place ALL OVER THE WORLD!!

  • You never have to worry about being robbed in Addis Ababa. They're one of the nicest people in the world and one of the first to adopt Christianity; very humble people.

  • @rasc40 First point.. I am NOT from London.. I live in a small town in the north of England. Second point, wouldn't you worry walking around Mercato when every person you meet and every guide book in Ethiopia says, "watch your things in Mercato" Third point, I tend to watch my things wherever I go in large cities so don't feel aggrieved that i was picking on the Mercato district. There are districts like this the world over! Have a nice day!

  • Oh man! Ugly city!

  • loool, well just how I remember it. I left Addis Ababa about 4 years ago. It's still dirty. The mayor is a useless one. At least when Mayor Arkebe was there he made every effort to keep it clean. But the ones that came later were self serving. Too bad Arkebe was an EPRDF member. We don't like EPRDF. Also this government kills in secret not like the times of the Red Terror. When this government leaves or is evicted we are sure to dig up the bones and display them for the world to see.

  • @cutiepie3997 Of course they dont steel, they steal

  • Ethiopia is very beautiful, but it's just awful that poverty and hunger is very common (and getting worse).

  • @digital111x Tosh. I was and I met others who had been robbed. Be careful when you are in Addis

  • @iain1984s and.. why is my video offensive to non idiots? I am starting to get p$%sed off with people somehow thinking my Ethiopia videos are in some way offensive? I show the country how I saw it.. just what is your problem? If you don't like it, just move along to the next video where you will no doubt slag them off too. Good day.

  • @iain1984s Ha! Just saw your commet Iain - and the answer to your question was "YES".. what in the hell did you propose I did? Cycle through France, Spain, dodge bullets in Libya, fight through war torn Sudan?... Most trips start with a plane trip surely don't they?
