PART 1: I played for Watervliet in white - was 10th grader #52. Opponent - Chatham in black. Was 1st round sectional game at Mechanicville HS in Upstate NY on 2/23/1990. Vliet won 75-55 leading by 4 at half. 6 technical fouls were assessed on play. 4 for Chatham as their players left bench. Chatham Coach Frank Pino was ejected._ Vliet shot 8 foul shots & Chatham 4. My teammates "Chill Will" got undercut & "Yoda" #31 ran full speed diving into punchers.

PART 2: In 89-90 (BASKETBRAWL YR.) Vliet finished 23-1 losing to eventual State Champ & Federation runner-up by 2 pts. in CC-C title game (Final State Ranking #3). In 90-91 Vliet went 28-0, State & Federation Champions (Final Rank #1). My Sr. year in 91-92 Vliet went 24-2 losing_ to eventual State & Federation Champ. by 6 pts. in State Semis (Final Rank #2). Vliet Coach George Mardigan recently retired with a Section 2 all-time best record of 546 wins & is a member of NYS Coaches Hall of Fame

I showed the front angle to some co-workers on Facebook with the student commentator. This video was a instant hit. Yoda was hardcore...lol!!!

Thanks for your comments! The announcer was hysterical. My teammates did not back away from a fight. Funny that all these years later I get to see the fight from the other angle.

I agree. Your announcer and camera angle rules. Before watching your version on Youtube I never had seen the actual fight. It is funny that about 18 years after playing in the game I get to see the punches thrown. My favorite part of your version is when my teammate "Yoda" dives full speed into punchers. If that was in slow motion it would be pretty funny. Great stuff!
