This is my Ultimate 2 BowFlex. I have always worked out on free weights and I still do. I got my BowFlex in Oct. 2008 and in my opinion it really is the Ultimate workout because so many different excercises can be done with it. I use it daily and now that I have one I couldn't live without it. Dec. 29, 2009

  • How long did it take you to assemble the bowflex? it took me almost 2 days..lol

  • @TheCEOGuy This was the second one I put together and this Ultimate 2 took much longer than the regular Bowflex. This one took me approx.4 hours or so. The regular Bowflex took two of us just over 2 hours. It does take time.

  • Hey what a great home gym! Im planning to save, save, save, save and then buy this one!

  • @LadyBlueGreenFairy I'm very happy with the Ultimate two and since I have been using it for some time, I couldn't live without it now.

  • What works for you will not necessarily work for him...as far as I can see, what he is doing is working just fine for him.

  • @2006edsel Thanks for the comment. It does indeed work just the way I do it. First I hit my free weights, then on to the Bowflex. Cheers

  • @ereesuh Picked it up at Disneyland, lol

  • nice shirt

  • @miketak2007 In my honest opinion I would use free weights for mass and for more muscle definition and tone then the Bow Flex is great. It really is a nice machine and provides many different workouts.

  • thanks for this video! If I wanted to bulk up my muscles would this machine work well for that?

  • @jumpingjehosafad The pecs. (chest)

  • @BananaJSSI nice, man. what's the one that you did at the end and what muscles does it work?

  • @jumpingjehosafad I know. My time is limited so I work out quicker. I hit my free weights first and then on the BowFlex, it's more about tone for me because I am into Martial Arts. I used to bench 250 lbs. on free weights four sets of 6 reps, but I've lowered it down to just under 200lbs. When I was younger I preferred bigger muscles, but now smaller muscles & tone work best for me.

  • Dude, you're going WAY too fast. I'm 16 and I bet that by going that fast I can do just as much weight as you just did. Ya gotta go slow for a real workout.

  • @RETICS1 I use free weights as well and have a full set up with two Weider Benches and over 600 lbs. of York steel weights in my basement. If you want bulk, you stick to the free weights. I use the BowFlex for tone. I do a full free weight workout first & then hit the BowFlex. I used Bow Flex long before I owned this one and I was impressed. It is good for toning and defining muscles, that's what I use it for. In my opinion they are great machines, but never give up free weights.

  • Hey I stumbled across your bowflex Ultimate 2 videos, you look like your in pretty decent shape, I got rid of my Powertec home gym last year and was contemplating getting the next smaller model or a bowflex, but none of my friends have ever owned one, I usually stay away from the typical "as seen on tv" kind of equipment, I'm not looking to tone, I'm more looking into adding bulk to my frame, do you think this is possible with this system or just stick to the free weights with porertec?
