Son Of Legendary Wrestler Ric Flair Arrested And Charged With Heroin Possession

The 21-year-old son of professional wrestling legend Ric Flair was arrested and charged with heroin possession on Sunday in Charlotte. Richard Reid Fliehr, known to wrestling fans simply as "Reid Flair," was booked after police say they found heroin in his car. He was also charged with driving while impaired, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with a revoked license.
This is Fliehr's third brush with law enforcement officials. In March, he was charged with driving while impaired and in June 2007, he was charged with assault with intent to inflict serious injury.

Fliehr was released after posting $15,000 in bail.

The youngest son of Ric Flair, Fliehr followed in his brother, David, and father's footsteps by pursuing a career in professional wrestling. While he has been working the independent wrestling scene, he did compete in two World Championship Wrestling matches in 1998 and 2000.

An accomplished high school wrestler, Fliehr attacked an opponent, Colby Hardin, after Hardin mocked Ric Flair's wrestling strut following a 2005 prep match. As a result, Fliehr was suspended for three meets the following season and both schools were fined $1,000.

The "Flair" family is no stranger to police arrests. In 2005, Ric Flair was arrested following a road rage incident after he allegedly got out of his car and attacked a motorist. The charges were later dropped. His daughter, Ashley, was arrested in 2008 for assaulting a police officer after police tried to break up a fight involving Ric Flair, Ashley and her boyfriend. The tussle reportedly left the wrestling legend "bloodied and bruised."

Flair was a terrible dad and who really knows how bad he was, he spent his money on partying who knows how much his children were exposed to to his failings. You don't really know enough to make a comment like "He doesn't care about himself" expectation and family resentment could have caused this its possible but who really knows.
