Dean, Thanks for the video. Going to miss the Lone Staar, enjoyed all my visits as few as they were. Introduced to it in 2000 and visited every trip back. George was kind enough to sign my copy of 'Skytrain to Murder', along with everyone else in the bar that day. Les T. เลส ทอมป์สัน

Nice to see Kurt as Akha woman ;-)
Didn't know he had it in him.

Where else are we gonna see all those familiar faces again in the one watering hole. I never knew half their names but I did rub shoulders when I was in town. I was expecting any time in the past 12 months for the seating and tables attached to the side walls to come adrift and end up on the floor. I'm surprised the walls held together (or at least upright) in the horng nahm for as long as they did. The plaster packed into the gaps sure as hell didn't help. Thanx for the memorex..

Great video ! I only wish I could have been there last day - missed it by 5 days. But your video gave me an appreciation of some of the "old" faces that turned up. I'm really going to miss the place.

That last shot of the soon to be gone bar is almost a tear jerker. :(
I did manage to spell Richard's last name wrong: it should be "Diran" not "Duran" but I know if I buy him a beer, he'll forgive me. Too bad it can't be in the Lone Star. Cheers, Dean
