No Robeert was too good of a friend to Felicia to have been involved with her. Robert and Sean were like fathers to her.

They were REALLY close in the fall/winter that year. She was lonely without Frisco and he received a letter from a dead Holly. They did seem a bit too intimate at some points.

Based on some of the exchanges these two had after Frisco was gone, it definitely seemed to me they were chemistry testing them, weird as it seems. Just some above and beyond dialogue that was not previously a part of their relationship. After a bit, they went back to normal.
