@Paradox313 It would cost more to renovate the current arena than to build a new one. Reason, the arena was built with cheap material and wood, causing it to be out of shape easily.  It would cost more to upgrade the arena to be at normal standards of how an arena should look and condition wise.

Arco is the worst facility in all of the NBA? Get real. It may be old, but goddamn does it have character, and history.

A new Arena is not necessary. A renovation however, is. Upgrade the seats, upgrade the lights, upgrade the jumbotron. Arco (not Powerband Pavillion) isn't as modern as Amway, but it sure is wonderful to be in.

@beartrapz916 Maloofs can't fund an arena by themselves and David Stern wants them to get a new arena. Arco is actually the oldest and worst facility out of all in the NBA.

@AdoaN17 Considering the Maloofs owe Sac millions if they want a new arena that bad they can build it doesn't matter how old the arena is it's still a good arena if something is not broke don't fix it.
