Tim and Kens great journey to Ludwigs corner car show in 1992 in Pennsylvania. This truck originaly came from West Hartford Conn. and had a story tale history surviving neglect and abandonment. There is an archive of photos of this truck in service in Conn. and on scene fighting fires through the decades. Scary drive with big hills, lots of weight, and only leather bound rear brakes with mechanical linkage.Worm drive rear. This truck was almost scrapped and burned in a building fire at one point. Not worth much when I had it years ago, but today highly sought after. No longer mine for many years but I still have the memories. The restoration was a labor of love. I miss it. Enjoy the vid. Special thanks to Ken for sharing this crazy ride in 1992. and notice I,m brain washing my boy at an early age. To Preston and all things Mechanical. Mac

  • I loved the story of the antique fire truck. I used to live about a 1/2 hour from Hartford, CT in Simsbury.

Preston is cute! How old is he now?

  • Nice truck, lets see more of it. That is very rare being a ladder service. Not many around.
