@legacy0100 due to the popularity of such rolls, sushi bars have no choice if they want to thrive. american palates are plain and dull in the sushi world. we take pride in everything we do. and yes it is irritating if you ask for more wasabi or ginger, or you soak your nigiri in soy sauce, but this is america. "customer is always right" applies here. so we have no choice but to put up with inconsistencies in traditional sushi.
