  • Long time no see. Either that or your uploads havn't been making my subscription box. You have a visual impairment don't you? If it's ok to ask, how low is your vision and how easy is it to read the screen of a book reader like that? Is it better than trying to read a standaard book with an LVA?

  • @ACCESS2B I have not had much to show so it has been a while since my last video My vision is around20/80 to 20/200 it changes quite often I am considered legally blind cause glasses don't really correct my vision they just help reduce eye strain. I find that using an e reader with the E ink display to be much easier then a stranded book with normal font size. With an electronic reader I can enlarge the font to where I need it. I the sony e reader only gives me three sizes

  • Recently I watched a video of the Kindle 3, I asked if the Kindle was Macintosh compatible and someone seemed to think it was, they also indicated that the Sony Ebook readers were not. Can you confirm or deny this? How much internal memory does it have?

  • @Lachlant1984 The sony prs 300 is compatible with mac OS 10.4 or higher Not sure of the memory size in megabits but I know it can hold up 350 books.

  • @bluetech7753: Hey do you have a review for the Panimage novel (2gb). I just bought a refurbished on last night and set the time and date. This morning I played with it a bit on Facebook and the BN store. Then I played the only preloaded video on the device and it froze. I cannot even figure out how to reset it or even turn it off - the on/off button is not responding. I want to take it back but do you think this is a fluke? Should I exchange for another one or return it altogether?

  • @bluetech7753 Ah, then it's good to see your videos again. :) Your vision is quite mild compared to mine. So I guess I should take a good look at ebook readers before I buy one. However it's good to know that fonts sizes can be increased. So maybe it will suit my needs. Thanks for your help and response.

  • Nice video. It looks nice, but honestly - $199 is high for a device that ONLY functions as an eBook reader. I picked up an android tablet here locally the other day for less than $100, and with the right apps, it does eBooks, and a lot more. It even has TTS capabilities with the right apps. PLUS, it's a web-enabled device via Wi-Fi.
