After taking a trip on the NJT Santa train from Middletown to Bayhead & back, I drove up to Holmdel to catch it heading back to Bayhead. The train had to head up LOYD interlocking to hold for a few regular scheduled trains before heading back to Bayhead. After the Santa Train blew through, an eastbound & westbound followed - 12/12/09

  • They should of done a steam engine for it. Because it just really looks like a fast commuter train.

  • Now that's an extremely good mix esp. with Locos at each end!!!

  • that GP40 pushing in the back was bouncing because of the springs on the trucks

  • lol ig ot it in netherwood

  • Very nice shots, yea I caught the Santa train at Somerville on the RVL. I dont know if NJT had one on the NEC or not.
