Ben-gals cheerleader's life now a movie

Laura Vikmanis is a 42-year-old mother of two girls.

She's also a Cincinnati Ben-gals cheerleader.

At 42, she's the oldest cheerleader in the NFL. Her life is being turned into a movie by New Line Cinema, the Hollywood Reporter reported last Thursday.

The movie is of love, inspiration, and an ongoing will to succeed.

Vikmanis tried out for the cheerleading squad of the Bengals at the age of 39 after her husband left her for a younger woman.

She didn't make the cheerleading team after her first try-out but did make the squad a year later after she improved on her fitness. She also devoted a lot of time to her routines.

Vikmanis became an inspiration to her daughters and as a mother figure to the cheerleaders, many of them 20 years her junior.
