@m92singh Thank you so much for sharing this wisdom. Oh to hear this wonderful performance again was magnificent. I lose things I love; not PC skilled and cannot refind even my fave's. I had to learn the PC to do my contract for Humanity but to search sometimes challenging. YOU were sooo kind to share this knowledge. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS piece and the Language Phrases <--;-) so beautifully voiced; and love the tabla. :) Namaste'. This genre' speaks right to my soul. Tc I Am most grateful. <3 to U

@nancyl2 at 2:44 the piece that is sung is a mix of tabla (musical instrument) language phrases and some indian classical dance phrases sung as dance takes place, this type of dance is called kathak dance.
The voicing you want to know about is sung whilst a kathak dancers dances and the tabla (musical instrument) plays at the same time.
You should search "Kathak Dance" in youtube to find example.

I Dream that" I am here live, listening to these musicians.". Wouldn't that be sublime??? We are so lacking in cultural events in our little area. My heart is jumping for joy. Thank you Dear Being for sharing this with me. I cherish your thoughtfulness. :-) 2:44 LOVE this. No one seems to tell me what you call this wonderful voicing within. Unless it is notes voiced.
