Downtown Sylva looks even better than that now. The large building on the right at 1:01 has been restored a bit (though it wasn't able to be converted into lofts due to the lack of a stairwell and elevators, a downed economy and safety issues) and the Courthouse has been completely restored and is now part of the Jackson County Public Library Complex. I wish they would do a show on the town again that would show all the positive changes to downtown recently...
