Actually wrong. Y2K was a non issue because a lot of money and a lot of time were spent by a lot of programmers to fix the issue before it ever became one. It's more akin to managing to eliminate carbon emissions, saving the climates, then you scientifically illiterate denialists will say "See? Nothing happened, it was a scam!"
