It's a herbivore, it's brown, it can reach up to 10 kilos in weight and it comes from the Caribbean island of Hispaniola. We mean the Rhinoceros Iguana, a reptile which owes its name to the horn-shaped protuberances adorning its snout that bring the great African mammal to mind . Manuel Aresté, keeper and biologist at the terrarium in Barcelona Zoo, shows us some specimens sharing the zoo's Ciutadella park facilities, all of which are in danger of extinction.
