haha. I've been doing mostly highway and average about 21-22mpg now.

but if it's only around-town driving, i can see dollar signs spewing out the tail-pipe.

do you need to have a mbc to have the chip?

No, the chip can use the factory boost controller - but i find that the factory one doesn't hold boost as well as a cheap-o aftermarket MBC

I'm saying that Volvo's are not good in racing untill after 75 lol it's how their turbo works. And look up the facts my friend the 850 turbos and Rs are performance models. My friend has stage 3 in his R and is only pushing 15psi boost cuz his engine was having detonation problems and he can stomp any stock STI.

pffff nah im quite safe, cars still standard but a race to 75? the point? my car wasnt designed to go fast in a straight line neither was this volvo designed to be a performance car. where are you going with this?
