  • @vicmarbar The most common cause of "TRANS FAILSAFE PROG" is low voltage caused by either a dieing battery or a failing alternator. This is a very common issue with e38s and is easily fixed by replacing the bad battery or alternator.

  • Hey man, thanks for the very informative video. You seem pretty knowledgeable of BMWs. By any chance, are you familiar with the error "TRANS FAILSAFE PROG."? I have a 1997 740il and it's had that on for months and it drives just fine at any speed. So I don't think there's anything wrong with my tranny. Any idea what might be causing the code? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

  • hello, i installed a complete nieuw cluster on my e38, but the fuel indicator, rpm and water temp gauge are not working, only thing works is the speedometer and little km counter (left button to reset). the cluster is niew from BMW Dealer. how can i unlock it? or should i live it to my bmw dealer to programm the cluster?

  • How do you fix a dead pixel on this car? Mine is burned out
