Most largebore longarms (rifles, shotguns, SMGs like this Thompson) the recoil is a lot like getting pushed by a schoolyard bully: with the right stance and grip it's barely noticeable, but if you do it wrong it'll feel like it's pushing you over.
Newton said it all: every action has an equal and opposite reaction. The same force pushing that bullet downrange is being pushed into you. Because the combined mass of you and the gun is so much larger than the bullet, you don't go flying.

Under controlled circumstances I don't see a problem with this at all. As a Canadian guy I find it a bit offensive that you call the American people "dumb American retarted fucks" You are just hateful and miserable. The hospitality I have experienced in the US is outstanding.

Stupid European, are you bitter about letting your guns be taken away from you?
The child has good trigger/burst control, keeps it pointing downrange even while giggling and is enjoying herself. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with people having guns as long as they are using them safely and responsibly. Don't be bitter that Americans/Canadians or whomever can have guns when you can't because you were too weak and let your government take them away.
