Senator Obama speaks about his relationship with Jeremiah Wright. Clearly, he is angered by those comments as everyone else is, and the attacks directed at him stem from guilt by association. As I recall, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson and Billy Graham all made comments blaming America for 9/11, and they were associated with McCain. I think people need to be fair about this issue.
No it was fine to voice his opinion in the church. The black church is a voice for black people, not just a place to talk about god. Go to a black church, its very different :) .

Actually, it was during a playing of the National Anthem that he didn't have his hand over his heart, not the the pledge of allegiance. Next time you are at a sporting event look around you and notice how many people stand with their hands in front of them just like Barack Obama did during the National Anthem.
Obama not only says the pledge of allegiance, but he says it with his hand on his heart.
So, to answer your question, he will pledge allegiance to the United States of America.

There was truth in Jeremiah Wright's words. However the church wasn't a place to voice your opinion. USA is so quick to go to another country and try to clean up their situation, by force or by choice, but lack the same initiative to clean up their own home. There a million of people here that are homeless, sick without healthcare, barely making enough to pay bills. The USA is not set up to help its people succeed, it is set up to make the rich richer and for everyone else fail.OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

People bashing Obama need to realize; he is only guilty by association. One person cannot control the actions, thoughts or words of another. Sometimes the people we all know best will completley disarm us with who they truly are and what they truly believe in. I believe that Obama is speaking the truth in this video, and that he is not at all guilty of any of the words of another individual.

It is required by the president of the United States to take an oath, allegiance to the country. Obama won't even place his hand over his heart when they are saying "The Plege of Allegicance" So EXACTLY WHAT COUNTRY will he pledge it to??

Obama: same white people controlled the country when the Vietnamese landed near L.A. 1974, but the Vietnamese gathered 12 to an apartment, took menial jobs, shared their salaries and saved their money, bought businesses and cars for cash, sent kids to school and learned English, and assimilated in 25 years fastest in the history of the country. Faster than Irish, Jews, you name it.
What they didn't do, is whine and blame others for 125 years.
Sacrifice is the process, preach THAT.

who said this kind of off-the-charts preaching "went on all the time"? Obama told FOX NEWS - no less - that this kind of preaching was Atypical. do we all go to church only for the sermons? come awn now, we know better.

Spiritual advisors and acquaintances can be incriminating, but should they be?: remember, Hillary Clinton and her Spiritual advisor/mentor, New Ager JEAN HOUSTON once held a SEANCE in the White House.

Rev. Wright in his words recorded over at least six years had revealed just who he is: a racist, one who hates America, and one who does not remotely speak as Jesus would. He is a man who seeks to inflame and divide. Obama has embraced this man called him his mentor. We can assess his judgment and whether he is fit to serve to lead our country accordingly
