Tornado warning Frankfort KY 2-28-11

Frankfort Kentucky about 5am - This view is from my deck overlooking downtown Frankfort, the Kentucky River, etc. It was an eerie quiet both before during and after the tornado warning.

@Trocks797 no- no touchdown here. Guess you heard about the one in Henry County which was pretty heavy. It was a short lived burst of severe weather here, and it was gone as soon as it came. I don't think Lexington had a tornado warning.

This is exactly why Thunderbolts are the best dual tone siren ever. They will grab your attention and sound super scary in attack. Towns should keep using them.
