Slightly tongue-in-cheek cover of the William DeVaughn song by the enigmatic Arthur Lee. A different sound then some of his psychedelic folk and rock output of the 60's (of which 'signed D.C.' is a personal favorite of mine). Off of the album Reel to Real, 1974

You post some classy stuff! I was equally happy to find this as I was "Livin' In the City". I've been looking for that song ever since i heard the Roc C song sampling it. Thanks!
Damn! This ain't the original recording of this song. I know I had the 45 when it came out way back in the early 70's but damn if I can find it. It wasn't as slick as Lee's, but that's one of the things I liked about it. Good vibes solo. Anyone remember it and tell who recorded it?
