Thank you, this is a very clear demonstration! I have been doing my bed single-handed, using pegs to secure the rope while I go to the other side, but it takes 10 times as long as these fellows. Think I'll get a helper next time.

One person could do this. Insert a peg, more like a chopstick, in the ropes hole you just tightened. It will hold until you tighten the next rope loop.
