This song was amazing as a kid cuz things between my parents were always tough. And now as a parent myself when I hear this it makes me stop and realize that no matter how stressful things get I can never ever allow it to affect my children. Love this song!

@thejester320 Most parents fail even if they think they didn't its part of their power trip.. I would never bring my kids into this world I grew up watching Rescue 9-11.. Parents don't have much control in what happens to their kids only if its telling them what to do... Most parents can't handle it but they think they can.. I work mostly with parents they are all pretty much bi polar and look like sewer rats

@mrsbarnum08 Not only that but through their fighting growing up I always knew my parents loved me. I make sure everyday my kids know that I love them. When my husband and I fight I make sure they aren't here to have it effect them. Our fights never last we can't stay mad at eachother so it never ever gets a chance to effect them. I make sure of that. Yeah things get stressful but as far as they know all is well. My kids aren't reliving my childhood of that I am sure!

@weirdscience85 Thats not true. It would only be true if I let things from my past control things for today. Not only that but I learned from my parents how to truly pull through the tough times. They are still married to this day and I could always tell they loved eachother even when they were fighting. I couldn't understand it as a child but as an adult I can. As far as that vicious cycle goes everyone has the power to stop it.
