One of the most innovative and collaborative in the country, the CoB ranked among the nation's top 50 — No. 35 nationally — in the May 2006 issue of BusinessWeek.

Thanks to the CoB's unique "CPA Exam Boot Camp," the pass rate among JMU graduates on the Uniform CPA Exam is close to 46 percent. The average national pass rate is about 16 percent.

This ranks JMU 25th in the nation when compared with undergraduates at 2,000 colleges and universities, according to the 2006 edition of "Candidate Performance on the Uniform CPA Examination."
