I will ask Bill next time I see him where he put his C of G, and how much weight he had to add. In general, because the stab creates so much lift, most old timers C of G is farther back than most sport airplanes. Instead of 1/3 being the norm, more like 40% of the chord. My 72 inch Lancer still required a brass spinner even with the battery in the nose. Under camber wings really shoot the nose up when the throttle is advanced, and you can only trim the plane during glide. I will get back to you.
