i have a sidekick dose any one knows why when i receive a txt the rings dont ring it just shows the message but thats because i have to keep on checking when i get a message. i whant it to ring when i get the message. some one pls help me!

i just got this sidekick from my friend. And When i put my SIM card into the sidekick, i imported my contacts to my phone. But when i get text messages, it reads the numbers, not the persons' name. Why does it do thAT?
