@Trackzshootatube you are right! that feature exits! i was looking for it too and its so useful!
you have to go to shift program and put the sound in mono and after iluminate de option mono and use open window. There you just put the sounds you want to cut for.
Sorry about my english.Hope this helps!

hey trackz, there's def a way to do it on the xl. go to programs or shift 6 go to parameters n down to overlap where u can change it to poly , mono or note off. once there hit open window n it will take u to MUTE ASSIGN. once there i think you can figure it out.

I looooooooooooooove this beat...neck snapping goodness heh heh
-
I think you mean changing from poly to mono. Hit shift an program at the same time then click on Params you will see that you can change each sound or pad whatever to poly or mono or note off which means you have to hold down the pad to play the entire sound; poly = multi voice and mono = one if you dig
Where is that feature can you please tell me how to program the sample to make the note cut each other off by hitting different ones without it overlaping.....Please

the 2000xl doesent have that function..only the newest can do that...

then how i see people with the xl doing it....i want real answers
Trackzshootatube 2 years ago
what do you mean with ''real answers''...the xl doesent have that future..you'll have to chop the samples so that they dont overlap...
N3zl0 2 years ago
thanks alot. but i was talking about real answers cause i have seen people hitting other pads without overlaping...
Trackzshootatube 2 years ago
thats because the sample CAN'T overlap...cause the samples start and endpoints is perfect...lol
