I find this rather one sided. All M. Russell Ballard's suggestions were for the son to do for the father. As in any relationship, both should do something for the other. Perhaps its just the video cut out the things that the father should do. Here are my suggestions as a son, 1.) Respect your son's dreams and aspirations. Nothing kills a relationship when the father belittles a son's dream, whatever it may be. 2.)Trust your son, give him a little credit. 3.) give minimal advice, when asked.
