For your information in professional basketball scoring and gameplay is all about what the ref sees and doesn't see. So even if he did travel he still got away with it. Michael Jordan fouled the defensive player in his last shot of the last finals he won and got away with it. Even Kobe said at one point while giving a move tutorial that it doesn't matter if it's a foul if the ref doesn't see it.
