The "center" of Bennington Vermont is Four Corners(intersection of routes 7&9).
This is a great place to be "seen" in Bennington Vermont.
Democratic presidential campaigners rally here in support of their candidates for the Democratic presidential primary election of 2008 which is Tuesday MARCH 4th.
I support Dr. Ron Paul for the US Presidency in 2008 but support and defend the rights of the people to speak
about and support their candidates.

yes the Taconic is a beautiful ride. Rt.22 is nearer the Ct and VT borders and parallels RT 7 in CT too. But the Taconic is better road for quicker traveling. It is also more scenic with views of rolling hills and valleys.

I didn't realize how many Hilary supporters there are lurking around Bennington. I'm currently living in Brooklyn, NY and it's all Obama down here.

I have driven up to Bennington several times up Rt 22 on the New York state side. Makes for a nice ride in the spring. I do not like any of the candidates and McCain is by far the worst. Check out an article in newsweek "proxy war" and the competing interests in the pentagon that each support mccain and obama.

I know what you mean about the candidates. I still support Dr. Paul and will probably write him in if need be.
Do you ever drive the Taconic?
I took it to go south to Bethel CT recently.
That was nice and scenic.
