I was trying this today, I whipped them up but they kept most pressure on my chest and couldn't get the arm under the leg and even when I did I couldn't get my body positioned so he wasn't crushed on me. any suggestions?

ah , i get what ur saying . but just out of curiosity , Was Eddie at UFC Fight Night in Tennesse ? I just got back about an hour ago , and i'm pretty sure that i saw him ( or at least what i think was him ) .

Its allowed in most no gi comps on a white belt level.

is the electric chair considers a leg lock?
I'm just a white belt so leg locks are not allowed.
I'm just wondering if this is allowed in competition at the beginner levels.

why does everyone think that this move is a banana split ? it doesn't make u do the splits . it actually stretches the ligaments in ur leg .

The electric chair can do one of two things depending on how you apply it. It could attack the knee or it could stretch the groin (hence the reference the the banana split)

I'm learning under a Rickson Gracie rep, so I will never complain about the quality of knowledge passed down to me. BUUUUUUUUT, the things we do are pretty "classic" BJJ. The chances of learning anything that is rubber guard related or Eddie Bravo related are about0%.
I thank you immensely for allowing me to learn outside of our box and add to the weapons in my playbook.
