Maxim-ugly.. its a shame because I liked the older maximas.

It's sure an acquired taste, but you have to personally see it. I used to think it's weird-looking, too, but after test-driving it and seeing the exterior upfront, it grew on me. The interior is up there with luxury sedans.

What's the deal with you guys bashing the Japanese cars? I'm an American too, and I wish that domestic producers were half as talented as the Japanese in designing quality efficient engines. You can easily push a maxima engine above 300k if you know how to correctly maintain an engine...
You can do that with a domestic engine too, but it'll cost you thrice as much (or more depending on the engine, and considering parts).
