After defeating the Chicago Fire 3 - 2 in the last home match of the 2008 season, the players did a lap of honour around BMO Field to show their appreciation to the fans. This year there were no pitch invasions, but some nice family moments and an echo of Bill Shankly as coach John Carver picked up a thrown scarf and put it on. This was probably the best match of the season, and the boys deserved their lap.
dude, im pretty sure everyones aware of rich, greedy, english football. this club is 2 years in its existance and we've sold out every game since. and our club was last this and last year. thats an achievment...and theyre thinking about expanding BMO to 30 thousand. what would happen if our team was actually good...
