This is what we do each year to prepare the garden. I have a Ford 9N that I bought off my father after he rebuilt it. All the farm equipment is from my grandfather on my mother's side and was the equipment he used in the 40-50's in Ohio. Notice the foot pegs, there are no running boards.

  • how big are the discs? 6 or 8 foot?

  • @jonEboy27 Hi, believe it or not, that disk is a 10 foot disc. Yeah! Back in the 1970s I used to pull that disc with a Alnis Chalmers WD which I didn't realize had 6-8 more horsepower. So . . . that 10ft disc is quite a load. It works OK but I have sandy soil. If it had more clay content it probably would not work.

  • Hi, no the hood is aluminum. I read that the aluminum hoods came from England but I am not sure what models they were a part of.

  • Wow you do have a true 9N. Love the smooth hubs and the two lines on the rear fenders. hard to come by these days. Is the hood aluminum?
