  • Allah is not the God of Abraham, of Moses, or Jesus. Allah is (was) the moon-god of the Arabs in Mecca (notice the symbol with the crescent moon)

This video doesn't even do the Koran justice. Mohammad didn't always tell the truth, rather taught that lying is good when it suits your cause (or desire).

Oh really?! Care to show me a verse? A trusted hadith? Something that you can string together which makes sense?

  • Where are the parts that shows cutting off heads, stoning women, teaching that Jews are pigs, and executing homosexuals? Where is the part that says "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them?"

  • @meshlife88

That's the part where you take the Quran out of context. Go research properly into the decent Islamic books, educate yourself then come back.

  • @meshlife88 The Bible says a lot of those things too, you know, sometimes even more overtly.

I didn't say it was okay to bend the truth, I clearly said it was a wrong portrayal. I put the film up with the intention of making it better known, and yes spreading the message of Islam, you'd be surprised how many people didn't even know the basics of the Prophet's life.

It was the first attempt to make an english film about the Prophet, and evidently it was very successful. Should anyone wish to make improvements the doors are surely open to them.

The intention should not be to make a movie that "all muslims agree with". The movie should have the same intentions of the pure message of Islam and Prophet Muhammad, ie. to spread the truth.

It is never okay to bend the truth and give a "wrong portrayal" of anything, especially in Islam. It does an injustice to our Prophet and Ahlul-bayt.

  • @seyedsam

Agreed, however because the intention was to make it so that all muslims agreed with the story. It's a wrong portrayal but that's the idea.

  • This movie was "okay", but not great and I have one HUGE problem with it. The movie was doing great until the point of the Battle of Khandaq (The Trench). They portray the battle as ending due to a giant sand storm. This is just simply false. The battle was won after Imam Ali killed Amr bin Abd Widd from the Quraish. The was okay in that it didnt show events that took place (perhaps because so much happened during the Prophet's lifetime) but it made a huge mistake by presenting false information

  • ITZ A GREAT MOVIE
