Ultimate and rare for 1967 was Fords introduction of the big block 390ci V8 in the Mustang. This S code Mustang Fastback GTA was given a 390ci V8 with a 4 barrel carburetor from the factory with a C6 transmission putting all the power to the ground. The Metuchen, NJ plant brought this Mustang Fastback GTA into the world. Only 50,655 of these S codes were produced in a 3 year run. Inside is a brand new black vinyl interior, gauges, gauge lens, and trim. This red exterior is absolutely gorgeous with no rust of filler in this body. Styled steel wheels with raised white lettered radial tires add to the appeal. No bolt was left unturned on this restoration on the body, motor or transmission. Power front disc brakes bring this big block to a stop. Spent gas is sent out the back via dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers to give this fastback just the right amount of sound. @EmofacePS3 My Old Man had one when we were kids, my brother and I never lost a race. Layed rubber in every gear! I am sure there were faster cars, but don't under estimate this car, still the fastest car I have ever been in. And I have driven in a lot of muscle cars.

Picture this as a convertible and that was my car just out of high school back in the good ol days. OK I admit - was an A-code 289 but it was a real GTA and I loved it - And I eventually sold - and I immediately regretted it like my mom said I would.
