  • Is that the muffler hanging under the truck?

  • @rep1989

no when I had the truck I had train horns under hood, the box you see is a ss box with a compressor inside.

  • Dodges do sound better then chevys if i could deal with a truck having major rust issues after 5 years i would get a dodge but no thanks my checy is like a rock!

  • @drozak3207

when I traded my ram in 2006 I didnt have any rust problems. Have a 06 mazda 3, shes already getting cancer, pos

  • I could not find the original flowmaster 40 any where with that set up of center in/out

  • thank u it sound great by the way

  • @Antrocker08 center in/ center out

  • @Antrocker08 yeah its a solid motor. i think i am going to go with the original 40 muffler. mine is kind of loud and doesnt need to be anymore. I kinda had that phase so i got y split duals with a flowmaster super 10 single chamber and its pretty loud for a 4.7l it could be a lil quieter in my opinion.

  • was the muffler a center in and center out muffler or was it one of those offset ones let me know i want to get that original 40 and the interior and exterior sound being loud doesnt bother me

  • @aaminjoshi91 i have a 99 ram quad cab 5.2 and they do sound nice a growling beast when you step on it with that 4 speed tranny its all good

  • @drozak3207 Dude thats really stupid, all cars rust you just gotta take care of them. I am looking at a 99 Ram right now that is clean as a whistle...no body rust. The previous owner took really good care of it and kept it washed. Mopar or no car.

  • @drozak3207 I do miss some parts of living up north (Wisconsin) but rust is definetely not one of them. I have a 97 dodge ram zero rust and I had a 85 gmc and a 76 gmc with no rust. (All from Mississippi)

  • sounds good. those 5.2l are the best sounding engine dodge made as far as small block v8's typically found in there trucks. the 5.9 has a some popping and crackling and my 4.7l has a lot of it. they all sound great though. wish i had a 360 in my durango!
