Combining V.S. Ramachandran's mirror work with Moshe Feldenkrais' exploratory movements to alleviate chronic pain and tension while improving strength and coordination. Merging vision with the tactile system enhances the illusion-reality that what you see in the mirror is not merely a reflection of yourself. In this illusion-reality you cut the cord with your habitual creation and recreation of pain and tension. Neurologically you instantaneously create new neural pathways that are not tied to the old pain and tension pathways.
